In this 4-week course, we will look closely at visual journals, notebooks, and illustrated letters by well-known artists.

In this intimate 8-week deep-dive, participants will explore the processes of creating graphic memoir with a focus on the healing power of graphic memoir. This course is designed to inspire you; to give you a solid sense of community and sharper knowledge of context for your graphic memoir experimentation or project; to untangle any snags you might encounter regarding content, form, and technicalities; and to help empower you to get that short comic or longform work out into the world, where it can do some good!
